Church Receives Transportation Support | PNG Loop
NCD Governor Powes Parkop handed the keys to the bus to the group, in support of their ministry in the city.
He showed his support in their work by teaching people good values and moral principles that are essential for nation building.
He said the challenges facing the city are not so much economy, resources, infrastructure or services.
“The biggest challenge is the values and the basic principles that guide us, both in leadership and in our staff.
“The city and the whole country has the potential to be a great one if people respect and appreciate each other. We also need to understand the privilege we have on earth. We have moral and ethical values and virtues to overcome this greatest challenge we have here in the city and in our country as a whole,” the governor said.
Reverend Jacob Harry thanked the Governor of NCD for supporting their work.
“It is an honor to receive this gift which will enable us to reach all of our people in the city and central province, to spread the gospel. Spreading the gospel will instill in our people high values, good guiding principles that will make our country great, says the Reverend.
Dadi Toka Jnr, Deputy Governor and Chairman of Motu Koita Assembly, witnessed the occasion.
